If you have a Q4 Red Renaissance card, you may leave 1-2 minutes early for lunch today NO Ren cards today.
Any current 6th-7th grade students interested in being a part of our award-winning yearbook staff next year, there will be an informational meeting in Mr. Phillips room, D5, May 28th (Tuesday) at 9:10, right after announcements. If you have good grades, are self-motivated and creative, we encourage you to come find out what we are all about!
Congratulations to Julian Jeong who will be giving the 8th grade speech for this year’s promotion ceremony. Also, thank you to all those who submitted entries. We had quite a few excellent speeches this year.
Are you secretly a Chess genius? Sign up for Quail Valley Middle Schools’ First Annual Chess Tournament. The winner takes home a fifty-dollar gift card and second place will take home a thirty-dollar gift card. Sign Ups are in the ASB office. The tournament will be held on Tuesday, June 4th from 9-11am here at Quail Valley.
8th graders: If you ordered a Panoramic Picture, they are here! Please pick them up in the Main Office!
Rocket Day is rescheduled (due to weather) to next Tuesday for all 8th grade students. Directly after promotion practice all 8th grade students and teachers will go to the rocket field to watch all rockets. We are hoping for great weather and great rockets on that day!!
If you made ASB for next year, bring in your money and size needed for your t-shirt as soon as you can. Money is due no later than Wed. May 29th.
Remember that for the rest of the year, all purchases at the ASB office are cash only.
If you have lost your ID card, you can purchase a new one in the Main Office for $5. Please take care of this before Ren. Carnival Day! Also, the Ren. Stickers on your ID cards need to be complete. No half stickers.
All track athletes need to turn in their track jerseys to Mr. McKenzie as soon as possible.
The 2019 Quail Valley Yearbook is finally here! Your books will be handed out during a special event on Friday the 24th. And, it's not too late to get in on the fun! There are a limited number of books for sale in the ASB office for just $40, so don't miss out on this last chance offer! See you in the book!!
All library books and textbooks are now due. Unreturned books will prevent you from participating in high school sports, clubs, and activities. These charges on your account will even prevent you from graduating -- so get your books in ASAP.
If you are not currently in band or choir and you would be interested in joining next year, or if you would be interested in a guitar class for next year, see Mr. Craver in room E-2
7th Graders - are you interested in learning Spanish next year as an 8th grader and enjoying the benefits of being bilingual? Pick up a registration form from your Language Arts teacher and turn your form in to the main office.
A summer basketball camp will be held at Serrano High School June 24 – 28. For information, pick up a flyer in the main office.
If you are a 7th grader interested in your 8th grade east coast trip in 2020, you can sign-up anytime. Registrations will be open until the end of school year. Registrations reopen in the Fall.
The big Blue Recycling containers around campus are NOT trashcans. Please do not put food or trash in them. They are for water bottles or aluminum cans only (no paper trash). The money that is collected from recycling goes directly back to students to sponsor events such as field trips. Please respect the blue bins.
