The ASB office is closed today.
Last night, the Cougar wrestling team took on the undefeated Hesperia Roadrunners at home in front of a packed gym.~ In what was the most exciting sporting event in recent memory, the competition came down to the final match of the night.~ With the Cougars trailing by 5 points, Joey Ibarra pinned his opponent with 1 second left in the second round giving the Cougars a 45-44 victory.
Brent Cannon, Cody Schexnyder, Blake Crandall, Emiliano Hernandez, Hector Hernandez, Isaiah Flores, and Trevor Bailey also won their matches.
The Cougars are now 4-0 on the season.~ They travel to Ranchero for their next match on Wednesday.

If you are in 8th grade and would like to try out for our ASB elective class, you can get an application packet in the ASB office. ONLY 8th grade students with no Fs, Ns, or Us can tryout. The space is limited for the class, so please get your applications completed and turned into the ASB office by Wednesday, October 2 or earlier. Good luck!
In order to raise money for the upcoming soccer season, the Quail Valley Boys’ soccer team will be hosting a penalty kick shootout on Friday, Sept. 27th. All students and adults are welcome to participate. The cost is $10.00 per shooter, paid to the ASB office by Tuesday, Sept. 24th. There will even be a semi-pro goalie in the goal.
