Congratulations to the Science Olympiad team for placing first in the High Desert regional competition this past Saturday. You will meet after school tomorrow as normal and also on Friday after school.
If you signed up for the Science center field trip March 3rd (tomorrow!), be at the front of the school at 6:30 am tomorrow or the bus will leave without you. Remember to bring money for lunch. There are still some spots available for the March 10th CA Science Center field trip. Turn your permission slips in to the ASB office with your $10 so you can secure your spot.
Our next, and last dance of the year is on Monday, March 9! It's the Netflix dance, and will be a blast! You can buy your tickets during lunchtime outside of the ASB office starting this Thursday. Tickets will only be sold at lunch. It's $1 for the 6th grade party and $3 for 7/8th grade.

Are you interested in Quail Valley Cheerleading? Tryouts for next year will start on Tuesday, March 10th. You can pick up an information packet in the ASB office or in room I-13. You must have a current physical in order to participate. This will be the only tryout for next year's team. See you there.
All students interested in competing for the Quail Valley Track and Field Team:
The first practice will begin on Monday, March 16th after school until 5.~ All athletes must have a sports physical on file with Mr. McKenzie, as well as a GPA of at least 2.0, with no U's and no more than 1 F.

Calling all Snowline artists, creative individuals, masterpiece makers and creators! The 20th~annual Young Artist Contest is off and running!~ Entries should be turned in to the office with a completed entry form signed by your parent/guardian.~ Entry deadline is March 13, 2020.~~
Room H-10 is open for tutoring every morning, Monday through Friday. Come and get help with your homework or just have your work checked for accuracy.
CLUBS:
Chess Club -- Come learn to play the game of Kings. Chess Club meets Tuesdays in room H5 starting at 8:15. All levels are welcome - we will teach those who don't know how to play.
Christian Club – meets on Tuesday after school in room K-1 3:45 – 4:30
Science Olympiad – meets every Tuesday after school from 3:45-4:30pm in Ms. Baldwin’s room G-3. Please arrange for a parent to pick you up from school at 4:30 after our meeting. There will also be a meeting this Friday after school.
Academic Pentathlon – meets Wednesday mornings at 8:00. 6th grade meet in Ms. Baldwin’s room G-3, 7th/8th grade meet in Mr. Hayes’ room, H-3. See you there! Pentathlon wear shirts on Wednesday. Old ones are okay too
Knitting Club – Are you interested in learning how to knit? Knitting Club meets on Wednesdays, in room I-5 at 8 am. See Mrs. Miller in I-5 if you have any questions.
