Don't miss out on our next Saturday Academy this week on March 14th from 8-noon. Come learn about the different careers available for your future, qualifications for the income you desire, and see if you have what it takes to conquer our first responder training course. Please have your permission slips turned in to the front office by Thursday, March 12th to secure your spot! All slips turned in on time will receive a sweet treat!
MDAQMD is doing their annual Clean Air Month Poster Contest. Please note that several students from every grade level have the chance to win cash and prizes!~ Also each entry is automatically entered in a drawing to win a bike! Pick up a flyer in the main office.
Students, please be sure to check the lost and found area in the cafeteria. The lost and found will be emptied before spring break, so stop by and take a look to recover your items.
50's Day is this Friday, 3/13! Some clothing items you could wear would be sneakers, rolled up jeans, poodle skirts, cardigans, bows in your hair, rolled up white t-shirt sleeves, and leather jackets! Earn $10 Cougar Cash!
The ASB office will only be open from 12pm-4:15pm. Please wait until lunch or after school if you need anything from Ms. Maria.
All students interested in competing for the Quail Valley Track and Field Team:
The first practice will begin on Monday, March 16th after school until 5.~ All athletes must have a sports physical on file with Mr. McKenzie, as well as a GPA of at least 2.0, with no U's and no more than 1 F.

Calling all Snowline artists, creative individuals, masterpiece makers and creators! The 20th~annual Young Artist Contest is off and running!~ Entries should be turned in to the office with a completed entry form signed by your parent/guardian.~ Entry deadline is March 13, 2020.~~
Room H-10 is open for tutoring every morning, Monday through Friday. Come and get help with your homework or just have your work checked for accuracy.
CLUBS:
Chess Club -- Come learn to play the game of Kings. Chess Club meets Tuesdays in room H5 starting at 8:15. All levels are welcome - we will teach those who don't know how to play.
Christian Club – meets on Tuesday after school in room K-1 3:45 – 4:30
Science Olympiad – meets every Tuesday after school from 3:45-4:30pm in Ms. Baldwin’s room G-3. Please arrange for a parent to pick you up from school at 4:30 after our meeting. This Friday there is a mandatory Science Olympiad Meeting at 3:45pm. This will be our final meeting before the competition on Saturday. Wear Science Olympiad team shirts on Friday.
Academic Pentathlon – meets Wednesday mornings at 8:00. 6th grade meet in Ms. Baldwin’s room G-3, 7th/8th grade meet in Mr. Hayes’ room, H-3. See you there! Pentathlon wear shirts on Wednesday. Old ones are okay too
Knitting Club – Are you interested in learning how to knit? Knitting Club meets on Wednesdays, in room I-5 at 8 am. See Mrs. Miller in I-5 if you have any questions.
