All 8th students going on NASCAR Field Trip this Friday... Listen up... there is a change in the timing. You may ride the bus to school and all students need to be here by 8:45. Bus will be leaving then. You will be back to school in time to ride the bus home. Lunch will be provided.

Attention all 8th grade students going to the Science Center on the Train next Monday. You will need to be at the front of the school by 6:45am. The bus will be leaving promptly at 7:05am... we cannot be late! You will be returning about 6pm.

Please join us for a night of fun! Quail Valley is hosting its First Ever ~ Family Movie Night ~ Friday, March 22nd from 5:30-7:30pm. We will be showing the NEW movie Mary Poppins Returns and providing Free snacks and Hot Dogs to you and your family. Please notify the school office if you plan to attend by MONDAY, March 18th. YOU MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY YOUR PARENT/GUARDIAN IN ORDER TO ATTEND.

If you are an 8th grader attending the DC trip next month, and you or your parents did NOT attend the meeting on Wednesday night, go see Ms. Mankins ASAP for the trip information.

Next Thursday, March 21, there is going to be another informational meeting regarding your 2020 east coast trip to Washington DC and New York, and other sites. Familes have been signing up, but lots of families could not attend meetings last Fall. So, another meeting to give families information about this trip will be Thursday March 21, in the Multi-Purpose Room at 6pm. If your parents are interested in getting information about this trip, or have questions about it, they are encouraged to attend. If you are already signed-up for this 2020 trip, you do not have to attend this meeting again, this is a duplicate informational meeting like the last ones. BUT, if your parent wants to attend again they can.

All athletes interested in trying out for this year's team must have at least a 2.0 Grade Point Average on their 3rd quarter report card and have no U citizenship grades. All athletes must have a current athletic physical on file with Mr. Conkle. If you have any questions, please see Mr. McKenzie.

If you'd like to purchase a St. Patrick's Day Lucky Gram, they will be for sale BEFORE SCHOOL only March 8-15. They are 50 cents. Buy one to send to a friend or buy one for yourself!!
Talent show participants – the talent show will be on March 15th and the rehearsal will be after school on March 12th.
Room H-10 will be opened for tutoring, mornings at 8:25, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays for all students.
Entry forms for the Snowline Young Artist Contest are in the main office. Your entry must be submitted the Quail Valley Office by March 13th!
If you are a 7th grader and you are interested in going on the Washington DC trip in 2020 as an 8th grader, get signed up now. For trip & registration information, go see Ms. Mankins in Room H6. You can register online and by phone.
The big Blue Recycling containers around campus are NOT trashcans. Please do not put food or trash in them. They are for water bottles or aluminum cans only (no paper trash). The money that is collected from recycling goes directly back to students to sponsor events such as field trips. Please respect the blue bins.
Did you run out of paper? Forget your pencil at home? Never fear, the Student Store is here! Come down to the ASB office to purchase basic school supplies for only $0.25 or $0.50 each.
