Attention all track athletes:

The boys’ and girls’ soccer teams both got their 1st wins of the season on Wednesday against Mesa Linda. The boys won 6-0. The girls won 5-1. Brianna Holguin scored 2 goals, and Jaylen Diaz, Cristal Magana and Valerie Guzman each had a goal. They play at Cedar on Monday, and their next home game is on Wednesday against Hook.
Attention all students, boys and girls, interested in intramural volleyball. Intramural volleyball will start on Wednesday, May 1st at 7am in the gym. Please come dressed in athletic apparel, ready to play. Please see Mrs. Miller in room I-5 if you have any questions.
Help raise funds for QVMS students by eating at chipotle on April 8th from 4-8pm! Flyers were sent out last week, if you need another one - pick one up in the main office! Hope to see you all there!

If you are staying afterschool for track practice, you are to go directly afterschool to get changed & go to the field for practice. Please do not hang around in the quad to take selfies or walk your friends out to the bus area. Go directly to the locker rooms & get changed for practice.
Names of students showing up late for practice will be given to Mr. McKenzie to determine if you will be participating in track meet events.

1) Do you like to Dance?~ The Serrano Dance Team is hosting their annual~Diamondback Dance Clinic~on~Saturday, April 6th.~ It is open to all middle school students and should be a fun day of learning hip hop, jazz, and drill!~ Students who attend the dance clinic will also have the chance to dance on stage~at the Serrano Dance Showcase. Pick up a flyer from the office for more information.~

Are you interested in trying out for the Serrano Diamondbacks~Cheer Team?~ Serrano Cheer will be hosting a Pre-Tryout Clinic STARTING TODAY April 2nd from 4:00-5:30 and continuing tomorrow April 3rd, and Thursday April 4th.~ The cost is~$10~and you will learn skills and material that will help prepare you for tryouts. Pick up a flyer and a Tryout Packet in the Office for more information.~We hope to see you there!

Room H-10 will be opened for tutoring, mornings at 8:25, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays for all students.
The big Blue Recycling containers around campus are NOT trashcans. Please do not put food or trash in them. They are for water bottles or aluminum cans only (no paper trash). The money that is collected from recycling goes directly back to students to sponsor events such as field trips. Please respect the blue bins.
Did you run out of paper? Forget your pencil at home? Never fear, the Student Store is here! Come down to the ASB office to purchase basic school supplies for only $0.25 or $0.50 each.
