If you have a Q4 Red Renaissance card, you may leave 1-2 minutes early for lunch today
Congratulations Drama, Choir, and Band members who are involved in the musical production of “Twinderella”. Your performances have been outstanding.
Today (Friday 5/17) is the deadline for the 8th grade End of the Year Promotion Field Trip (Fiesta Village Wed 5/29) permission slips to be turned in. If you have forgotten it, you can turn it in on Monday with your $35 cash.
After today, all purchases at the ASB office are cash only.
If you have lost your ID card, you can purchase a new one in the Main Office for $5. Please take care of this before Ren. Carnival Day! Also, the Ren. Stickers on your ID cards need to be complete. No half stickers.
All track athletes need to turn in their track jerseys to Mr. McKenzie as soon as possible.
The 8th grade dance is on Tuesday, May 21. (Period 6) The dance is free and during school, but we need to rely on donations of food and drink from families. You can donate individually wrapped candy, store-bought cookies, chips (like the kind that come in lunch packs), soda/drinks (also individual, not 2-liters), or other food items that kids can easily grab at the event that are individually wrapped. Please send donations to the main office by Monday, May 20
The 2019 Quail Valley Yearbook is finally here! Your books will be handed out during a special event on Friday the 24th. And, it's not too late to get in on the fun! There are a limited number of books for sale in the ASB office for just $40, so don't miss out on this last chance offer! See you in the book!!
All library books and textbooks are due by this Friday. You can turn in your books any time during the day, including before and after school. Unreturned books will be charged to your Aeries account so get them in on time.
If you are not currently in band or choir and you would be interested in joining next year, or if you would be interested in a guitar class for next year, see Mr. Craver in room E-2
7th Graders - are you interested in learning Spanish next year as an 8th grader and enjoying the benefits of being bilingual? Pick up a registration form from your Language Arts teacher and turn your form in to the main office.
A summer basketball camp will be held at Serrano High School June 24 – 28. For information, pick up a flyer in the main office.
If you are a 7th grader interested in your 8th grade east coast trip in 2020, you can sign-up anytime. Registrations will be open until the end of school year. Registrations reopen in the Fall.
Room H-10 will be opened for tutoring, mornings at 8:25, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays for all students. Last day for Morning Tutoring will be May 23
The big Blue Recycling containers around campus are NOT trashcans. Please do not put food or trash in them. They are for water bottles or aluminum cans only (no paper trash). The money that is collected from recycling goes directly back to students to sponsor events such as field trips. Please respect the blue bins.
