Cherrydale fundraiser items arrived yesterday, please make sure you go to the ASB office today after school if you didn't pick up your items yesterday.
Attention 8th graders going on the East Coast DC/New York Trip: See Ms. Mankins today during ONE of your classes. to receive a GOLD letter from Ms. Mankins today. Please take this paper HOME and share it with your parents/guardians. If you have NOT received one by the end of the day TODAY, please go to H6 to get the GOLD letter RIGHT AFTER SCHOOL TODAY!!! Also, if you are participating in the telethon next month, pick-up your first packet from Ms. Mankins.
Attention all 8th graders NOT signed-up for the East Coast trip in June 2020: The trip has changed. It is now a 7day trip. This change has lowered the price. We are still visiting the cities of New York, Washington DC, Philadelphia, and Baltimore. If your parents/guardians are still considering sending you on this trip, you can sign-up anytime ONLINE. If you need the information for signing-up, go see Ms. Mankins in room H6!
The Cougar Game Room will be open all 3 lunches today. It's 3 QVMS tickets for one student, or 5 tickets for 2 students. You do not need to sign up! Just bring your QVMS tickets to lunch with you.
Today for National School Lunch Week, the cafeteria is offering Boppin’ Baked Potatoes...Baked potatoes with~all kinds of toppings.
Tomorrow the lunch~will be~Rockin’ Nachos...Nachos with all kinds of toppings.
Also...every day we will be giving out FREE ICE CREAM to all students that get lunch.
From the Snowline Police Dept. -- If you attend any of the Serrano football home games, such as tonight’s game, you must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Anyone under the age of 14 who attends the games without a parent or other adult may be sent home.
Come check out Academic Pentathlon. Compete against other schools in academics. Earn medals, trophies and bragging rights. Maybe even go to Magic Mountain. Your grades may not matter. In fact, if your grades aren’t the best, we probably want you! Come to Academic Pentathlon Wednesday morning at 8:00. 6th grade meet in Ms. Baldwin’s room G-6, 7th/8th grade meet in Mr. Hayes’ room, H-3. See you there!
CLUBS:
Chess Club -- Come learn to play the game of Kings. Chess Club meets Tuesdays in room H5 starting at 8:15. All levels are welcome - we will teach those who don't know how to play.
