About QVMS

QUAIL VALLEY MIDDLE SCHOOL

QVMS was built in 1992-94. Mr. Luke Ontiveros, our former Superintendent, opened the school in the fall of 1994. The school started with 400 students and after 26 years, we are now between 875 - 930 students. Our students transfer from Vista Verde Elementary, Baldy Mesa Elementary, Oak Hills Area, Hesperia, West Victorville area and other surrounding areas. QVMS continues to show high achievement as evident in State Similar Schools comparisons as one of the top Middle Schools in the area. We still have much work to do after COVID, but we are confident we can overcome those years of isolation and limited in-person interaction.  We are a very diverse populated school with students from over 10 ethnicities. We offer a variety of courses and extracurricular activities like: 6 Sports, Band, Choir, Drumline, Yearbook, a S. T. E. A. M. program, Robotics, Drama, ASB, Science Olympiad as well as a variety of different types of Clubs on campus. Our goal is to prepare students for a global interactive experience that provides effective academic preparation for being successful as they move on to High School and beyond.
