About QVMS

QVMS was built in 1992-94. Mr. Luke Ontiveros, our former Superintendent, opened the school in the fall of 1994. The school started with 400 students and after 22 years, we have grown to between 950 - 1100 students. Our students transfer from Vista Verde Elementary, Baldy Mesa Elementary, Oak Hills Area, Hesperia, West Victorville area and other surrounding areas. QVMS continues to show high achievement as evident in State Similar Schools comparisons as one of the top Middle Schools in the area. We are a very diverse populated school with students from over 10 ethnicities. We offer a variety of courses and extracurricular activities like: 6 Sports, Band, Choir, a S.T.E.M. program with Drones, Robotics & Boe-bots, Drama, ASB, Academic Pentathlon, Foreign Language as well as a variety of different types of Clubs on campus. Our goal is to prepare students for a global interactive experience that provides effective academic preparation for being successful in the career they choose.
